Installation
Platform-specific installation instructions for macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android.
macOS
Download the .dmg file for your architecture (Apple Silicon or Intel) from the downloads page. Open the DMG and drag JumpTerm to your Applications folder. On first launch, you may need to right-click and select "Open" to bypass Gatekeeper.
JumpTerm requires macOS 13.0 (Ventura) or later. The app is notarized and signed with a valid Apple Developer ID.
Windows
Download the installer (.exe) or portable (.zip) version from the downloads page. Run the installer and follow the prompts. The portable version can be run from any folder without installation.
JumpTerm requires Windows 10 or later. The installer is code-signed with an EV certificate.
Linux
We provide packages for the most common distributions. For Debian and Ubuntu, download the .deb file and install with sudo dpkg -i jumpterm_*.deb. For Fedora and RHEL, use sudo rpm -i jumpterm-*.rpm. The AppImage works on any distribution -- just make it executable with chmod +x and run it.
ARM64 builds are available on our GitHub releases page for Raspberry Pi and other ARM devices.
iOS
Download JumpTerm from the App Store. The app requires iOS 17.0 or later and supports both iPhone and iPad. Your vault syncs automatically when you unlock it on your mobile device.
Android
Download JumpTerm from Google Play. The app requires Android 13 or later. Like the iOS app, your vault syncs seamlessly with your desktop installations.
